How does The Top Secret work?

The Top Secret is an exclusive member’s only online destination for sample sale shopping. We provide our members access to premier brands with up to 75% off retail value. Each sale runs from one (1) to four (4) days. Now you don’t have to lift a finger to own beautiful designer pieces.

What is a sample sale?

A sample sale refers to an event in which one or more in-demand designers will sell production samples and excess inventory at deeply discounted prices. Traditionally, one would have to go to New York or another big city to shop these exclusive sales, but we’ve brought that experience to you in the comfort of your own home. Please note that although we are online, you are still shopping a sample sale. That means the color, size, texture, and details could potentially vary from piece to piece.

What kind of products do you offer?

We offer everything from designer clothing for men and women as well as sunglasses, handbags, jewelry and other accessories. We’re always striving to vary our sales to appeal to all sides of our members.

How will I be notified of upcoming sales?

You will receive an e-mail from The Top Secret with the start and end dates as well as times the next sale will be running.

How do I unsubscribe from the e-mail notifications?

Simply go to “My Account” tab and click on the link to unsubscribe. You will then type your e-mail and a confirmation word and you’re all set. Please allow 5 to 10 days for you to be unsubscribed from our list

How can I refer a new member?

You can easily do this by clicking on “Invite a Friend” on the homepage. You are then able to invite as many people as you would like.

Do I receive anything if I refer someone to Top Secret?

We offer a $15 referral credit to reward our members for sharing the Secret…the Top Secret with their friends. Whenever a friend joins through your invitation and makes a purchase for the first time, you will be credited $15 to use during a sale of your choice. You earn one $15 referral credit per new member i.e. you invite three (3) friends and they all make purchases. You will have a $45 credit to put towards your next purchase. Referral credits cannot be redeemed as cash.

What locations do you ship to?

Currently, we only ship within the United States. We’re hoping to expand soon!

I just placed my order. When can I expect my package to arrive?

We understand you’re excited about your purchase, but please allow 10-14 business days from the end of the sale for your order to ship.

How do I cancel my order?

If for some reason you are unsatisfied with your purchase, you are able to cancel it, as long as the sale is still in progress. You must call our Customer Support Line at 973-258-0090 ext 111 to cancel an order. If the sale has ended, unfortunately we are unable to cancel an order.

What is your policy on returns and exchanges?

To return an item, go to www.TheTopSecret.com/Returns and follow the simple instructions. You will be issued a return authorization number. Please fill out the form with the reason(s) for return and place in the box to be returned. You have fourteen (14) days from the date the package originally shipped to return it. Upon receipt of the return, we will issue a merchandise credit minus the shipping and handling charges. Items must be unused, unworn, unwashed and undamaged. Items must be returned with their original packaging. Return shipping is at your expense, using the carrier of your choice. We regret that we cannot accept COD returns, nor those received after the fourteen (14) day deadline. Please review our policy of items which are not allowed to be returned listed below:

Top Secret offers you great merchandise up to 75% off. In order to do so, we may not always carry large quantities of every color, size etc. Therefore, we cannot process exchanges.

What methods of payment do you accept?

We accept the following major credit cards: Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover.

When will my credit card be charged?

Your credit card will be charged at the time of your order.

How can I check my address and billing information?

After you log in, click on “My Account” at the top of the page and you will be able to check all of your information. Please remember that in order for your purchase to go through, the address you provide us under “Your Personal Info” MUST match your billing address exactly. If there is anything different, your transaction will no go through.

How can I get confirmation that my payment was received?

After you have successfully made a purchase, you will see a screen with all of your purchase details. That will be followed up with an e-mail confirmation from The Top Secret that you can keep for your records. If for some reason you don’t receive the following, please contact us either at support@thetopsecret.com or call customer service.

How long will it take for a credit to show up on my account?

It generally takes about five (5) to ten (10) business days from the time you ship your item back.

I unsubscribed from the e-mail but am still receiving them. How long will it take for that to stop?

Although we will unsubscribe you shortly after we receive your request, it might take a few days or an e-mail cycle for it to take effect. Please allow up to 10 business days .
